 If you are looking for the perfect park wedding in the great and beautiful state of Washington, then you should consider Tacoma as your first choice for your wedding destination. Tacoma is a middle-sized urban city that is located on the Puget Sound in Washington around 32 miles southwest of Seattle and around 31 miles northeast of Olympia, Washington. Tacoma has an estimated population of around 201,000 inhabitants and stands as the second largest of all of the cities in the Puget sound area.
If you like the idea of a park wedding, then you may enjoy the idea of holding your wedding ceremony in the incredible Point Defiance Park, which is one of the largest urban parks in the entire country, which can be found within Tacoma. Many of the attractions within the park, including Owen Beach, Fort Nisqually, the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium and Camp Six can be reached through the Scenic Five Mile Drive. The park is also home to a variety of different historical structures, including a pagoda that can be found near the entrance to the park. There are other large parks that can be found within Tacoma, including Wapato Park which features beautiful scenic walking trails that circle an incredible lake at the south end of the city of Tacoma.
